The Big Book Nook
The Big Book Nook is a non-profit bookstore donating 100% of the money raised to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southeastern Ohio. They were founded in 1969 as TWIG 17 providing funding for Fairfield Medical Center. They started with an annual book sale at the Fairfield County Fairgrounds before moving into a storefront in 2014. For the past 54 years, they have volunteered their time and talents to provide a bookstore experience to our community.
In 2023, The Big Book Nook was created when the members voted to change their charity to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southeastern Ohio and be absorbed by that non-profit. We are excited to start this new adventure and expand the store and offerings.

The Big Book Nook will donate 100% of the proceeds to Big Brothers Big Sisters to ensure all children have the opportunity to reach their full potential. Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southeastern Ohio has been in our community for over 50 years and has served thousands of youth. They have a growing need to serve more children and expand their services. The impact of your donation of books and purchasing a book or item will create a lasting impact on youth in our community.
