Learn where donations go?
Big Brothers Big Sisters is
funded in part by United Way,
grant, donations, and
fundraising events. Regardless
of where the money comes from,

How do I donate tickets for kids
to use?
Event tickets are always
appreciated by the children and
the volunteers. Bigs and Littles
enjoy activities that they
wouldn’t normally experience
such as college/pro sporting
events, theatrical productions,
theme parks, or museums. If you
or your company would like to
donate tickets, please call the
agency @ 740-687-9477 or mail
directly to us at:

How do I get a Big Brother or
Big Sister for my child?
Big Brothers Big Sisters
serves children throughout
Fairfield County between the ages of
6-18 who need and want a Big
Brother or Big Sister to provide
positive friendship, guidance,
and support. To determine if
your child or the child you know
is eligible, please
fill out the on-line form or
contact the agency at
740-687-9477. All information

How do I become a Big Brother or
Big Sister?
Becoming a Big Brother or
Big Sister in the Big Brothers
Big Sisters Program is easy. Click
here to
begin the process or call the
agency to have an application
sent to you. Once you have
filled out a program
application, our caseworker will
meet with you to learn more
about you and the type of child
you would like to mentor. You
will be required to have
a background check, a driver’s
license check, and submit 3
personal references. Once you
have successfully completed the
process, you will be ready to be
matched with a child. Generally,
our Big Brothers and Big Sisters
spend at least a few hours every
month with their Littles,
shooting hoops, fishing,
cooking, playing video games -
anything that lets a child know
that someone else cares for them
or pays attention to them and
lets them safely enjoy their
childhood.
How do I partner with you on a
corporate level?

listed in the contact us tab on
the home page to discuss how
your organization can work
together with Big Brothers Big
Sisters to help kids in our
community. Opportunities are
abundantly available for
volunteering, funding,
advocating, and providing
professional services. Becoming
a partner with Big Brothers Big
Sisters is a strategic
opportunity for your company or
organization to build both your
internal strength and your civic
profile within the community.

that you are helping to shape
the work force of the future by
helping children to develop into
caring, confident, and
responsible adults through
