Become a Little
The guidelines for eligibility of children to be admitted into our programs
are:
- The child must reside within Fairfield County
- The child must be between the ages of 6 and 14 to be referred and between
6 and 16 to be matched
- The child must reside in a single-parent home, in the legal custody of a
grandparent(s) or other family member, or in foster care
- The child must be lacking in significant adult relationships, extended
family involvement and other community adult resources
- For program eligible clients, a case worker makes a permanent folder,
creates an active case file, and place the child on the "waiting
list" pending identification of a suitable match.
How Register a Child
